In 2023, Tuyet was a recipient of Genesis Foundation fund where she collaboratively wrote and performed in a multidisciplinary piece at London’s Rich Mix entitled Echo Land. The piece explored memory through the British Vietnamese Chinese cultural lens. She directed the short films featured in the show.

a s i a n is Tuyet’s first experimental film that she directed which premiered at London’s Rich Mix and is currently heading to film festivals. 

Void Days by Jude Christian is a Short British Hybrid Drama that was funded by the British Film Institute. Tuyet creatively produced the short and it is currently heading to film festivals. 

In 2021 – 2023, Tuyet produced the first of a three part series of short immersive films which makes you conscious of your subconscious behaviour through AI technology, funded by the British Film Institute, by Karen Palmer. The first short won the best XR experience at SXSW 2023 and had its UK premiere at Roundhouse London.

In 2022, Tuyet produced a short film inspired by the foundations of Theatre using Headphone Verbatim, by Anna Nguyen & Kristine Landon-Smith. The film had its international premiere in the UK, Australia and Vietnam in late 2022. The film is now heading to festivals.

In 2019 – 2021 Tuyet co-founded the British East Asian in Theatre and on Screen (BEATS) organisation which is not-for-profit. She is the co-founder of VanThanh Productions, a platform for enabling minority groups to tell their own stories. Under VanThanh Productions she produced the first and second British Vietnamese productions to have ever hit UK stages and piloted a developmental programme for 6 emerging Vietnamese creatives across the UK. Tuyet is the Creative Director & Producer of Tuyet Van Huynh Limited which mainly focuses on her film and multi-disciplinary work. 

As the Digital Producer for Tamasha Theatre Company Tuyet is producing a series of site specific, immersive audio walking adventures across the UK, R&D digital labs in partnership with the National Theatre’s Immersive Storytelling Studio and a podcast series in partnership with Transmission Roundhouse. 

She has previously worked as a Digital Producer at the National Theatre’s Immersive Storytelling Studio.
